VoIP

I am able to plan, design, configure, and implement VoIP networks, as shown in the following network diagram:

This would represent a scenario for a big company with main offices, buildings, and smaller branches in various cities across various countries. A customer's company typically had a main headquarters with their own PBX that they wanted either to integrate into the service or replace completely.

Objectives

VoIP projects looked to renew customer offices by reducing costs, providing more services and features to their employees, and raising productivity by keeping them as connected as possible to each other.

My Role

My role was to fully integrate those services into the Cloud PBX ecosystem. I would:

  • Plan and Schedule Milestone Dates for Configuration, Installation, Testing and Final Delivery
  • Install and configure VoIP phones, deploy softphone profiles, and interconnect the customer PBX with the Cloud PBX.
  • Test features with customers such as Telepresence, Call Waiting, Call Transfer, Call Hold, Conference, VideoConference, Extensions, Operator Features, IVR etc.
  • Document the installation, customer specifications, and extra information that the project required.

Technologies

The following is a list of equipment vendors with whom I have deployed and installed their products:
